Wildscreen
is the world's largest and most prestigious
wildlife and environment film festival.
It was founded by Sir Peter Scott in 1982
and its patrons include Sir David Attenborough,
Prince Philip & E.O. Wilson. It celebrates
its 25th anniversary in 2006.
Held in Bristol every two years, the festival
culminates with the Panda award which has
been won thrice each by eminent Indian conservationists
& filmmakers, Mike Pandey & the Bedi brothers.
Wildscreen attracts the famous names from
wildlife, conservation and environmental
backgrounds and has an increasing role in
promoting films as a conservation tool to
highlight key environmental issues amongst

The Wildscreen Festival is coming to India
for the first time in January 2007.
